Pivot

• A big change in strategy or direction at a startup, such as a new target market, business model, or product, to meet customers' needs better or take a new opportunity.
• Usually a response to a challenge or setback.
• Risky, and expensive in time and resources, but sometimes necessary to stay afloat and succeed in a fast-changing market.

You still have to assess where you are and act accordingly. Just don't treat a pivot as a silver bullet. The pivoted product is no more likely to work in the market, and pivoting doesn't mean you get to run away, give up, and guess at the market at random.
