OpenAI is an AI research and deployment company that aims to ensure that artificial general intelligence (AGI) benefits all of humanity. AGI is a AI type that can outperform humans at the most economically valuable work. OpenAI consists of a non-profit corporation and a for-profit subsidiary. OpenAI also provides an API for accessing new AI models they developed.
