Accelerationism

Accelerationism is a range of Marxist and reactionary ideas in critical and social theory that propose that social processes, such as capitalist growth and technological change, should be drastically intensified to destabilize systems to create further radical social change referred to as "acceleration". The term also refers to the post-Marxist idea that because of capitalism's internal contradictions and instabilities which can jeopardize its growth, the abolition of the system and its class structures could be brought about by its acceleration. Various ideas, including Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari's idea of deterritorialization, Jean Baudrillard's proposals for "fatal strategies", and aspects of the theoretical systems and processes developed by English philosopher and later Dark Enlightenment commentator Nick Land, are crucial influences on accelerationism, which aims to analyze and subsequently promote the social, economic, cultural, and libidinal forces that constitute the process of acceleration. Accelerationism has since been taken as an ideological spectrum divided into mutually contradictory left-wing and right-wing variants. Both support the indefinite intensification of capitalism and its structures and the conditions for a technological singularity, a theoretical point where technological growth becomes uncontrollable and irreversible. 가속주의

가속주의는 가속(acceleration)이라는 급진적 사회적 변혁을 일으키기 위해 기존의 사회를 약체화하는 강력한 기술적 변화 혹은 경제적 발전을 이루어야 한다는 마르크스주의 혹은 그 마르크스주의의 개선적 사상이다. 가속주의는 또한 자본주의에 내재된 갈등과 불안정성이 그 성장을 방해하여 체계의 붕괴 및 계급의 종말이 도래할 수 있다는 마르크스 이후 믿음을 나타내기도 한다. 다음의 사상들이 가속의 사회적, 경제적, 문화적, 본능적 원동력을 분석하고 지지함으로 가속주의에 직접적인 영향을 주었다:

• Gilles Deleuze와 Félix Guattari의 비영토화 (Deterritorialization)
• Jean Baudrillard의 **치명적 전략**에 대한 제안
• 영국의 철학자 및 이후 어두운 계몽주의 (Dark Enlightenment)에 대한 주해자 Nick Land의 이론적 체계 및 절차

가속주의는 이후 좌익적 가속주의와 우익적 가속주의로 분파되었다. 두 사상 모두 자본주의와 그 체계의 극대화 및 기술적 특이점(기술의 발전 속도가 통제 불가능해지는 지점)을 지지한다. 좌익적 가속주의는 기술의 진화와 자본주의의 능가를 강조하지만 우익적 가속주의는 자본주의 자체의 강화와 그 기술적 특이점의 도래를 강조한다.
