The Korean Peninsula is a peninsula in East Asia shared by North and South Korea. The peninsula is 750 miles long and extends 684 miles into the Pacific Ocean. The peninsula borders China to the north and Russia to the northeast. The Korea Strait separates the peninsula from Japan to the southeast. The Korean Peninsula is one of the most dramatic locations in world geopolitics.
