Make your moves
Tap a piece to see every square it can reach, then tap where you want it to go. A pawn reaching the last rank promotes to the piece you choose, and in solo games ⌘Z takes a move back.
How games end
Checkmate wins on the spot, and resigning hands the game to your opponent. Stalemate, threefold repetition, the fifty-move rule, and insufficient material all end in a draw.
Playing a friend
Share the room link or QR code and the game begins the moment your friend sits down. A rematch swaps colors, so you take turns playing White.
