Alibaba launches Wan 3.0 in public beta, doubling clip length to 30 seconds
Alibaba's Wan team released Wan 3.0 in public beta on August 6th, available via Alibaba Cloud Model Studio, Qwen Cloud, and the Wan creation site.
Wan 3.0 raises single-run video duration to 30 seconds, up from the 2 to 15 second range of the prior Wan 2.7 model.
Pricing is $0.05 per second at 480p, $0.10 at 720p, and $0.20 at 1080p, making a full 30-second clip cost $1.50, $3, or $6 respectively; the per-second rate matches Wan 2.7's 720p price.
A new Omni-Reference feature lets users generate video directly from PDFs, Office files, Keynote/Pages files, and webpages instead of manual prompt writing.
Qwen Cloud currently caps usage at two concurrent jobs, 30 requests per minute, and a 50-task async queue during the public beta.
