ByteDance's Dreamina platform debuted Seedance 2.5 globally on July 31, 2026, marking the first platform to offer this model.
Seedance 2.5 generates up to 30 seconds of continuous video in standard mode, with a Long Video Mode extending output to 3 minutes.
The model raises the multimodal reference limit from 12 to 50 assets per project (up to 30 images, 10 video clips, 10 audio files) to keep characters, products and style consistent across scenes.
A new Intelligent Edit Mode lets creators select a timestamp and revise a specific detail (like a product color) without regenerating the entire video.
The workflow also supports green-screen post-production, 3D white-model control, and Blender/Maya asset integration for filmmakers and marketing teams.
