Alibaba releases Wan3.0 with 30-second generation and document-to-video input
Alibaba Cloud's Wan3.0 generates up to 30-second videos in one pass, with prompt-based duration recommendations and an extension feature for continuing a generated storyline.
The model accepts text, images, audio, video, and documents as inputs; each request can include one file or link up to 100 MB and 50 pages.
Wan3.0 supports document formats including DOC, XLS, PPT, PDF, TXT, Keynote, Pages, Numbers, and Markdown, which Alibaba says can be turned into materials such as brand films, courseware, charts, and narrated briefings.
Alibaba says reference-to-video mode maintains consistency for characters, props, spaces, and style, while built-in editing can modify visuals, plot, and dialogue without regenerating the entire video.
Wan3.0 is available in Alibaba Cloud Model Studio at listed API prices of $0.05 per second for 480P, $0.10 for 720P, and $0.20 for 1080P.
