Alibaba releases Wan3.0 with 30-second generation and document-to-video input
Alibaba Cloud has released Wan3.0 on Model Studio, with up to 30 seconds of video in one generation plus prompt-based duration recommendations and video extension.
Wan3.0 accepts text, images, audio, video, and documents as inputs; document requests allow one file or link up to 100MB and 50 pages.
Supported document formats are DOC, XLS, PPT, PDF, TXT, Key, Pages, Numbers, and Markdown, which the company says can be combined with prompts to create videos from office material.
The model supports 480P, 720P, and 1080P output, priced through the API at $0.05, $0.10, and $0.20 per second respectively.
Alibaba says Wan3.0 supports reference-to-video consistency for characters, props, spaces, and style, and can edit visuals, plot, and dialogue without regenerating the full video.
