Alibaba launches Wan3.0 beta for 30-second video generation from documents and mixed media
Alibaba has released Wan3.0 in beta, raising its maximum generated video length to 30 seconds, twice that of Wan2.5.
Wan3.0 accepts text, images, video, audio, web pages, PDFs, and PowerPoint files; a prompt can contain up to 10 images, five videos, and five audio clips.
Alibaba says the model uses reference material to keep characters, props, and spatial layouts more consistent, targeting visual drift and distortion in faces and user interfaces.
Wan3.0 is available through wan.video, Alibaba Cloud Model Studio, and the Qwen Cloud API, with Standard and faster Prime tiers.
At 1080p, a 30-second Wan3.0 clip costs $6.00 on Standard or $8.40 on Prime; 480p prices are $1.50 and $2.04, respectively.
