Google Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash adds 4K output, 40-second scene extension, and keyframe controls
Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash can generate 1080p and 4K video, after users prototype clips in a 360p draft mode that Google says is up to 60% faster and costs one-third as much as standard 720p generation.
Scene extension now analyzes up to 10 seconds of prior footage rather than only the final second; users can add 10-second segments up to 40 seconds total.
Creators can set first and last keyframes, and the model generates motion between them for uses such as camera moves, zoom transitions, and loops.
The model accepts up to three seconds of reference video to retain character, environment, and visual context in a newly generated scene.
Google is making Omni 1.1 Flash available through AI Studio and the Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, while Flow access is rolling out globally to AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra subscribers.
