Twelve Labs' Marengo becomes Amazon Bedrock's first video model

Twelve Labs' Marengo is the first video model available in Amazon Bedrock Managed Knowledge Bases, letting businesses search their video libraries with natural-language queries.
After a customer connects a video repository such as Amazon S3, Bedrock handles ingestion, indexing, and retrieval, so customers do not need to build frame extraction, speech-to-text, or vector-search systems.
Marengo jointly analyzes video visuals, text, speech, and sound to find scenes matching a query, such as a second-half penalty kick.
Twelve Labs says video and associated data stay inside the customer's AWS account, targeting organizations with strict data-management requirements in finance, health care, and government.
Cloud media asset management platform Iconik has adopted Marengo, and Twelve Labs plans live demonstrations of the integration at IBC 2026 in Amsterdam.
