Google Omni 1.1 Flash adds 1080p and upscaled 4K video output
Google Omni 1.1 Flash is described as a production release with 360p, 720p, 1080p, and 4K output, clip extension up to 40 seconds, and start-to-end-frame interpolation.
Google's API documentation labels the 1080p and 4K outputs as upscaled rather than native renders, despite the model accepting 1080p and 4k resolution values.
For scene extension, Omni 1.1 Flash analyzes up to 10 seconds of preceding footage, compared with one second in earlier models, to maintain visual and narrative continuity at the join.
The new 360p draft tier costs one-third of the standard 720p tier and has up to 60% higher system throughput than 720p, according to Google.
The model is paid-only, has no free quota, and charges by output token rather than by clip.
