Adobe puts Firefly, Veo, Runway, Kling and Luma video generation inside Premiere timelines
- Adobe's Generative Media Tool puts five video models in Premiere's timeline workflow: Firefly, Google Veo, Runway, Kling, and Luma.
- Editors select a video or audio range, enter a prompt, choose a model, and receive a clip already trimmed to the selected duration and matched to the sequence resolution and aspect ratio.
- Premiere's reference-frame tool sends one or two sampled timeline frames with the prompt, conditioning generated footage on shots already in the edit.
- Adobe shows the chosen model's credit cost and output settings before generation; Firefly alone has a public per-clip rate, while partner-model prices appear only in the taskbar.
- The September 8 IBC 2026 release also adds in-timeline audio and music generation, audio repair tools, and an AI assistant for After Effects.
