Second 'Dune: Part Three' Trailer Reveals Hayt, Irulan Conflict Ahead of December 18 Release
Denis Villeneuve released the second full trailer for Dune: Part Three, which is based on Frank Herbert's Dune Messiah and opens December 18, 2026.
The story is set 17 years after Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) defeated the Emperor, and now finds him torn between Chani (Zendaya) and his wife Princess Irulan (Florence Pugh), while raising two children.
Paul must decide whether to trust Hayt, a clone of his late mentor Duncan Idaho, as new threats challenge his rule.
Returning cast includes Javier Bardem, Rebecca Ferguson, Charlotte Rampling, and Anya Taylor-Joy, with Robert Pattinson newly joining as a rival seeking to remove Paul from the throne.
The film's December 18 release date puts it head to head with Avengers: Doomsday, and the article notes Dune has now had two full trailers versus zero for the Marvel film.
