Dune: Part Three Will Play in IMAX 70mm at 25 U.S. Theaters Ahead of December 18 Release

Dune: Part Three, Denis Villeneuve's final film in the trilogy, opens widely on December 18 after IMAX "Insider Screening" performances on December 14 and 15.
Only 25 U.S. theaters have the equipment to project the film in native IMAX 70mm, using 15-perforation 70mm film and a 1.43:1 image ratio.
The first IMAX 70mm ticket sales began months before release, and many showtimes have sold out amid demand for the limited format.
