Villeneuve's Dune 3 Officially Titled 'Dune: Part Three,' Will Use Imax Cameras for Select Scenes

Denis Villeneuve's next Dune film is officially titled Dune: Part Three, dropping earlier reports it would be called Dune Messiah
The film will include scenes shot with Imax cameras but will not be shot entirely that way, unlike Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey
Imax CEO Richard Gelfond misspoke on CNBC when he suggested the whole film would use Imax cameras, according to Variety's clarification
Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, and Jason Momoa are confirmed to return, with Momoa back after skipping Part Two
Filming starts imminently and the movie is set for a December 2026 theatrical release, ahead of Villeneuve's James Bond film for Amazon MGM
