Dune: Part Three Trailer Debuts, Confirms December 2026 Release and Abu Dhabi Shoot Details
- Legendary Entertainment and Warner Bros. Pictures released the first official trailer for Dune: Part Three, the final chapter of Denis Villeneuve's trilogy.
- Filming took place over a 31 day shoot in Abu Dhabi's Liwa Desert (including two days in Al Ain), involving more than 600 UAE-based individuals, among them 206 local crew, 12 stunt performers, 336 local contractors, 38 crowd extras, and six interns.
- The story is set almost two decades after Paul Atreides took the Imperium; Paul is now Emperor and faces rebellion, betrayal, and visions of Imperial collapse, with Chani central to the unfolding conspiracy.
- Dune: Part Three opens in North American theaters and IMAX on December 18, 2026, and internationally from December 16, 2026, distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures and, in China, by Legendary East.
- The film is directed by Denis Villeneuve, written by Villeneuve and Brian K. Vaughan, and stars Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Jason Momoa, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, and newcomers Nakoa-Wolf Momoa and Ida Brooke.
