Dune: Part Three will film in Abu Dhabi's Liwa desert later in 2025

Abu Dhabi Film Commission says Dune: Part Three will begin filming in the Liwa desert later in 2025, returning the production to the location used for Arrakis.
Legendary Entertainment said Liwa's dunes and horizon will again represent the fictional planet Arrakis in the third film.
The Creative Media Authority Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi Film Commission will provide logistical support, while Image Nation is the production partner.
The production will receive the Abu Dhabi Film Commission's cashback rebate; Denis Villeneuve filmed Dune: Part Two in Abu Dhabi for nearly a month.
Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya are set to return, and Jason Momoa is confirmed to appear in the third installment.
