Dune: Part Three releases in cinemas on December 18, 2026 via Warner Bros. Pictures, adapting Frank Herbert's novel Dune Messiah.
New cast additions include Robert Pattinson as Scytale and Anya Taylor-Joy as Alia Atreides, joining returning stars Timothée Chalamet (Paul Atreides) and Zendaya (Chani).
Full cast also includes Jason Momoa, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Javier Bardem, Léa Seydoux, and newcomers Nakoa-Wolf Momoa and Ida Brooke as Leto II and Ghanima.
Director Denis Villeneuve told The Hollywood Reporter the film is a "thriller" set 17 years after Dune: Part Two, focused on Paul dealing with "the consequences of having too much power."
The trailer teases a plot departure from the source material, showing Paul and Chani reunited and expecting a child together, alongside additional battle scenes.
