Official Dune X account confirms exclusive Dune: Part Three footage will play in front of Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey in IMAX 70mm engagements, telling fans to arrive early.
Dune: Part Three is confirmed for release in theaters and IMAX on December 18.
IMAX 70mm screenings with the footage will run in select US states (Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, New York and others) plus Canada, UK (London, Manchester), Australia, Belgium, Czech Republic and France; it is unclear if Indian theaters will get it.
The film is expected to adapt Frank Herbert's Dune Messiah, moving past Paul Atreides' rise to power to explore political intrigue and the cost of absolute rule, with director Denis Villeneuve calling it the conclusion of his trilogy.
Returning cast includes Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Florence Pugh, Javier Bardem and Jason Momoa, joined by new additions Robert Pattinson as Scytale and Anya Taylor-Joy in an expanded role as Alia Atreides.
