Dune: Part Three IMAX Ticket Drop Draws Queues, Site Crashes and Resale Listings

Dune: Part Three IMAX ticket sites and box offices were overwhelmed Tuesday, with fans reporting crashed apps, long queues and early resale listings after more tickets went on sale.
The Dune Insider screenings begin Dec. 14 at 36 IMAX theaters, including 25 U.S. locations, four days before the film's Dec. 18 theatrical release.
IMAX had released a limited first batch of 70mm screening tickets in April, which sold out quickly, then announced a further release for Tuesday.
Fans queued for hours outside AMC Lincoln Square in New York City, with reports that some arrived at midnight and one buyer purchased dozens of tickets.
