Jason Momoa Returns as Ghola Hayt in Dune: Part Three, Carrying Duncan Idaho's Memories

Jason Momoa returns in Dune: Part Three as Hayt, a ghola (genetically engineered human replica) who carries some memories of Duncan Idaho but is not Duncan himself.
Timothée Chalamet's Paul is now the Emperor, and Momoa describes his performance as "strong, silent and violent."
Momoa says Chalamet "went toe to toe" with him physically and mentally on set, and the two joke around between takes before getting serious.
Dune: Part Three opens in cinemas on December 18, and Empire's December 2026 issue, on sale October 22, carries a cover story with Denis Villeneuve, Chalamet, Zendaya, Anya Taylor-Joy, Robert Pattinson, Momoa, and Florence Pugh.
