Denis Villeneuve Adds IMAX and 70mm Screenings for Dune: Part Three After Opening Weekend Sellouts

Denis Villeneuve said in a video on the official Dune Movie Instagram that Dune: Part Three tickets are expanding to IMAX, IMAX 70mm, and other premium formats, with more seats opening tomorrow.
The added inventory follows early IMAX 70mm sellouts at 38 theaters on opening weekend, and Villeneuve acknowledged requests for greater access to insider screenings.
The film holds exclusive IMAX access through the holiday window, and round-the-clock showtimes are expected to carry demand through Christmas.
Marvel's Avengers: Doomsday sits on the same holiday slate as Dune: Part Three.
Dune: Part Two earned $714 million globally in 2024.
