Dune: Awakening hits PS5 and Xbox with a full single-player mode and the $9.99 Filmic Archive DLC
- Dune: Awakening launched on PlayStation 5 and Xbox on September 22, 2026, roughly 15 months after its PC debut, and Funcom says cross-play between platforms arrives post-launch.
- The console release ships with a full single-player mode that covers the entire game and all its content, plus customization of harvesting rates, death penalties, and experience gain.
- The Filmic Archive DLC costs $9.99 on all platforms and adds 73 Sardaukar building pieces, weapons, emotes, and movie-derived outfits including the Caladan Stormcoat and the Aegis of an Unwalked Path.
- The same update reaches PC and makes PvP optional so the whole game can be played PvE, removes taxes, reduces the death penalty, and adds Augmentations and Specializations along with a rebuilt Atreides and Harkonnen endgame.
- The game is 50% off on Steam until October 8, Xbox Game Pass members get 20% off the Deluxe and Ultimate editions, and a physical PS5 edition ships through Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe, Solutions 2 GO, and Spike Chunsoft, with Japan on October 29.
