Dune: Prophecy Season 2 Starts Production With Indira Varma, Tom Hollander, Ashley Walters Joining Cast

HBO began production on Dune: Prophecy season 2, an eight-episode season from showrunner Alison Schapker filming in Hungary, Jordan, and Spain.
Indira Varma, Tom Hollander, and Ashley Walters joined the cast as new characters, though HBO did not say which roles they play.
Season one leads return, including Emily Watson, Olivia Williams, Travis Fimmel, Jodhi May, and Yerin Ha, with Jessica Barden and Emma Canning back as the young Harkonnen sisters in flashbacks.
HBO confirmed the second season arrives in 2026 and showed brief footage in its 2026 programming trailer.
The prequel is set 10,000 years before Paul Atreides and spans multiple generations, which makes the three new roles hard to guess.
