Abrams ComicArts sets November 5 release for Dune Messiah graphic novel volume one
- Abrams ComicArts will publish volume one of a scene-by-scene graphic novel adaptation of Frank Herbert's Dune Messiah on November 5, scripted by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson with interior art by a Dragon Award-winning artist.
- BOOM! Studios has released a hardcover collection of The Edge of a Crysknife, a comic about young Shadout Mapes and her years as a Fremen freedom fighter, also scripted by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.
- A new edition of Paul of Dune is out, the Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson novel set between Frank Herbert's Dune and Dune Messiah that covers the Jihad years and Paul Atreides' turn from hero to tyrant.
- Steven Spielberg named the Dune films among his favorite sci-fi movies and said he looks forward to Dune: Part Three, in an item dated August 11, 2026.
- Dune: Prophecy season 2 is in production at HBO, which added Indira Varma and Tom Hollander to the cast; the show draws on Sisterhood of Dune by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.
